Infortrend and STEC integrate Solid State Drives

Infortrend® along with STEC, Inc., announced that the companies have joined forces to advance SSD technology through Infortrend’s ESVA (Enterprise Scalable Virtualised Architecture) F60 storage solutions.
The integration of the STEC ZeusIOPS Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) SSD enhances Infortrend’s ESVA F60-2830 by advancing the IO performance of the systems in a scalable manner. This successful integration paves the way for further cooperation and qualifications between STEC and Infortrend.
The Infortrend ESVA FC Series of RAID storage systems is a midrange storage solution designed to support FC SANs. With models supporting drives with different form factors, speeds and capacity, users can meet diverse application requirements of performance, capacity, space, and cost.
