OpenTrust announces the availability of a recent IDC Vendor Spotlight report in which its flagship trust-based security suite is recognized as the most efficient and cost-effective way of securing the IT networks and communications of tomorrow’s most Agile Enterprises. IDC positions OpenTrust as an emerging global IT security market leader. The report, entitled “Building a Trusted IT Ecosystem in a Complex, Evolving and Agile Business Environment” looks at trust-based security solutions and their ability to support a more competitive IT process.
IDC firmly believes that the only way to satisfactorily secure an open IT infrastructure, essential for agile business processes in today’s competitive environment, is to deploy trust-based technologies like OpenTrust. OpenTrust’s security solutions for trusted IT ecosystems give enterprises full-control over their cost-saving, internet-based networks. Trust is the cornerstone to all transactions and each device and each user has its own secured identity.
“Today’s business environment is highly competitive. Securely opening an IT infrastructure to the Internet provides a wealth of opportunities for an enterprise to improve business agility”, stated Olivier Guilbert CEO, OpenTrust. “Employees must be able to use laptops and mobile devices securely and have remote access to corporate data 24h/7. Our complete security suite based on trusted digital identities, certificates and smart card technologies places electronic trust at the core of all transactions and is rapidly deployed to a large number of users”.
Eric Domage, author of the Vendor Spotlight report, commented “A Trusted IT Ecosystem has a simple architecture, consisting of network owner, identity holder and credential storage mechanisms, all of which are independent of one another. OpenTrust has emerged as a provider of such an Ecosystem”.
