Geo Networks Joins Interxion’s Content Hub
March 2012 by Emmanuelle Lamandé
Interxion Holding NV announced that dedicated fibre infrastructure provider, Geo Networks Ltd (Geo) has become part of the Content Hub community in Interxion’s City of London data centre.
A long-standing Interxion partner, Geo has expanded its footprint in Interxion’s data centre in order to better serve the needs of the digital media community.
Geo’s dedicated fibre services give customers, such as toptable.com and bet365 the ability to flex their network up to terabit capacity, quickly and efficiently. This scalable infrastructure is critical to any web-based business, to enable it to fight DDoS attacks whilst leaving sufficient bandwidth to continue day-to-day operations, essential for running uninterrupted online services.
Interxion’s Content Hubs provide the ideal environment for effective content aggregation, exchange, storage, management and distribution. They also enable customers to interconnect with a large and growing digital media community, helping to optimise European distribution.
