DSI Moves Up in 2013 Mobile Application Development Platforms Magic Quadrant for Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision

August 2013 by Marc Jacob

DSI has once again been placed on Gartner Inc.’s Magic Quadrant
for Mobile Application Development Platforms (MADP) report, which assesses leading
vendors of business-to-consumer, business-to-business and business-to-enterprise
mobile applications. (1)

According to the Gartner report, key criteria for inclusion into the market
assessment included market traction, organizational scale, financial viability,
ownership of intellectual property and a global presence. In conjunction with its
30+ years of experience, deep industry knowledge and proven ability to execute, DSI
meets these criteria and is among the industry leaders within the rapidly-growing
MADP market.

"We believe DSI’s continued placement on the Gartner Magic Quadrant highlights our
longstanding commitment to developing innovative mobile solutions that help our
customers conquer the complexities of becoming mobile enterprises," said Matt
McGraw, President & CEO, DSI. "Moreover, we believe our position reaffirms our
ability to deliver proven solutions that free customers to quickly optimize their
business processes and gain a lasting competitive edge."

DSI’s mobile platform features out-of-the-box integrations with leading enterprise
software systems that are optimized for mobile deployment. And by providing a
comprehensive solution that connects disparate software systems and data collection
points — including machine-to-machine (M2M) integration — more than 1,100
businesses worldwide have turned to DSI’s platform to support their mobile needs
throughout the entire enterprise.

"DSI well deserves this Gartner designation, as they provide us an end-to-end
platform that continuously supports our growing needs for mobile applications," said
Tom Nollan, Director of IT for Old Dutch Foods. "From on-premise, real-time data
collection in the warehouse to off-premise mobile apps that support our direct store
delivery operations, DSI helps us run more efficiently, no matter when or where
business happens."

DSI has continued to enhance its platform to simplify mobile app development,
eliminating the need for specialized mobile developers and long development cycles.

"We continue to execute on our vision to develop a platform that significantly
reduces the resources and time it takes to create, deploy and manage mobile apps,"
said McGraw. "By empowering our customers’ existing teams to successfully design
fully-integrated mobile apps, DSI is fostering self-sufficiency, not dependency —
truly giving customers the freedom to succeed."
