During the 2014 Data Center Europe congress held in Monaco, CHOREUS Datacenter announced that it had signed a financing agreement totaling more than €400 million.
As an operator and developer of Data Centers, CHOREUS Datacenter’s objective is to become the leading Data Center company in France. To fuel this strategic development, the company won over a pool of German investors who are industry specialists and players in the energy sector.
Representing the pool of investors in France, David Gasset explained, “After deep analysis of opportunities in the French market, CHOREUS Datacenter became an obvious choice. Innovative technological setups are our first picks, especially those impacting energy performances. The decision to use trigeneration is a good example of this. We also look for a high level of expertise and quality, and the CHOREUS Datacenter team caught our attention. Contrary to many others in the market, we found that this company has all the key skill sets to design, build, and operate infrastructures. On the first site located in Aubergenville, elected officials and representatives of local and regional communities demonstrated their support during our meetings.” Gasset finished by adding, “From all the concepts we have studied, CHOREUS Datacenter’s stood out as the most adaptable to client criteria and demands, and the most capable of providing value”.
