Brocade Offers Next-Day Limited Lifetime Warranty on Select IP Products

Brocade announced that effective October 1, 2009, it is offering the Brocade Assurance Limited Lifetime Warranty on the Brocade FastIron® CX, Brocade FastIron WS, and Brocade TurboIron® 24X products*. The program enables customers to receive replacement parts on the next business day, provided the request is received before 2 pm local time.
Response times are based on local standard business days and working hours and commercially reasonable efforts. In some countries and regions and under certain supplier constraints, actual response times may vary. If your location is outside the customary service area, your response time may be longer. Please contact the Brocade Support Team for response time availability in your area.
Original purchasers may download patch releases containing defect repairs from www.brocade.com for the purchased firmware release. In order to activate the enhanced warranty users must register their products prior to submitting a warranty request. Brocade’s Assurance Limited Lifetime Warranty covers software defects, internal power supplies, and fans. External power supplies and optics are not included and carry a standard 13-month warranty.
Various levels of Brocade customer support are available to complement the Brocade Assurance Limited Lifetime Warranty. These services—ranging from remote technical support to four-hour onsite hardware replacement— provide 24x7 access to Brocade technical support, all firmware updates and enhancements, and — depending on the level selected, on site resources to perform product replacement.
*Duration of warranty: As long as the original end user continues to own the product. In the event of discontinuance of product manufacture, the warranty is limited to five (5) years from the announced date of last product sale.
