The DDoS attack used the Mirai botnet, which consists of thousands of compromised “Internet of Things” devices, including IP cameras and digital video recorders. Ainsi cette année, l’éditeur a acquis Sentrigo un spécialiste de la sécurisation des bases de données. Pour David Grout, Directeur Technique France, McAfee son entreprise souhaite sans cesse accroître sa couverture en matière de sécurité. Son rachat par Intel devrait permettre à terme de mettre la sécurité avant l’OS.
